Trade Show Graphics File Preparation Guide
Large-format graphics expose file problems that are easy to miss on a monitor. Always use the project-specific production template because finishing, bleed, safe area, scale, and panel breaks differ by exhibit system and graphic type.
Build to the supplied template
Do not reuse a previous show's dimensions without confirmation. Keep critical text, logos, and faces away from seams, silicone edges, pockets, hardware, curves, and finished edges.
Package fonts and linked images
Outline fonts only after retaining an editable master file. Include or embed linked assets, avoid web-resolution imagery, and review effective resolution at final output size.
Proof content and color intentionally
Confirm booth number, dates, QR codes, URLs, trademarks, and legal copy before release. Brand-critical colors should be communicated with reference values or physical standards when available.
Clear answers before production begins.
How early should we start a Chicago booth rental?
Start as early as possible. The actual schedule depends on the footprint, approvals, graphics readiness, fabrication scope, AV, hanging elements, freight plan, venue rules, and the show’s current service deadlines.
Can you coordinate labor and show services at McCormick Place?
Yes. We can coordinate the exhibit program with the event organizer, general service contractor, venue providers, and authorized labor. Internet and telecommunications at McCormick Place must be ordered through the venue's exclusive provider.
Do you provide a purchase option?
No. This site offers exhibit rentals and related program services only. We can design a rental program around your booth size, show calendar, brand standards, and budget.
Bring us your show, footprint, and deadline.
We’ll help turn the brief into a rental exhibit plan your team can actually execute.
